The latest UK weather warning was issued following flash floods earlier this week, with certain regions receiving over twice the amount of rainfall in a single day.
Following the evacuation of thousands of people from a holiday park that was inundated with floodwaters, officials at the Met Office cautioned residents and visitors alike about the possibility of further widespread flooding and travel disruptions.
So today here at Observer Time we will discuss and observe the news of the UK weather heavy rain warning.
UK WEATHER HEAVY RAIN WARNING
Except for North Wales, parts of the West Midlands, and the North West, a yellow warning has been issued for most regions of England and Wales between 5 pm on Thursday and 10 am on Friday.
Another yellow weather warning has been issued by the Met Office, with predictions of heavy rain and flooding throughout the UK.
A yellow warning is being issued for the area, indicating potential disruption due to heavy rain.
These areas cover most of England and Wales except North Wales, parts of the West Midlands, and the north-west of English regions.
This warning is in effect between 17:00 Thursday and 10:00 Friday.
In addition to the yellow warning for rain issued for Thursday, it remained in place throughout the day and covered large parts of the East of England.
The Met Office said yellow warnings indicate a low risk of power outages, a low risk of flooding for homes and businesses, and the risk of travel disruption.
It comes after parts of Britain saw above-average rainfall on Monday, with flooding damaging homes and disrupting travel.
