Nicola is played by Laura Doddington, best known for her roles in Doctors, Holby City, and The Midwatch Cuckoos.
Nicola arrives in Albert Square uninvited in the show to be announced later this year. This comes as a shock to Teddy, who desperately wants a fresh start with his boys.
So today here at Observer Time we will discuss and observe the news of Teddy Mitchell’s ex-wife.
TEDDY MITCHELL’S EX-WIFE
When he arrives, he wastes no time introducing himself to the rest of the Mitchell clan – and also wants to make amends with his sons, Harry and Barney.
Teddy isn’t surprised that Nicola has arrived in his new neighborhood but is determined to make himself known. Whether her ex-husband likes it or not.
In recent weeks, Teddy and Harry have been open about their past, and Nicola may be the key to opening about what they’re running on.
In August, Harry told his father that “you know” he had been found near their old place, trying to find where the family had moved.
Teddy is sure he has everything under control, but does Nicola know who he is and what he wants from his ex?
Doddington has already started filming for the soap.
She revealed in a statement that her new role on EastEnders is exciting, stating:
“I can’t believe I’ve been cast in the show! It was an amazing experience when I first started shooting at The Vic, and I felt like I was growing up with such fantastic actors.
The Tasmanian Devil-like Nicola is a complex and intelligent individual who is unapologetic about her actions. The addition of my Mitchell boys, Roland, Elijah, and Lewis, has made me feel like a part of the family, which is fortunate. I’m loving every second so far.
Nicola, like other exceptional women at Mitchell, is known for her brilliance, strength, and love for the family, according to executive producer Chris Crenshaw.
Her association with Teddy has been a complex tale, and her relationships with her two sons will be fascinating to uncover.
“We are delighted to welcome Laura Doddington to EastEnders to bring Nicola to life.”
